View Statistics
Twitter view statistics are now available for all tweets. The feature lets you see how many times someone has looked at your tweet, or anyone else’s actually.
It is crucially to get as much social media statistics as possible on how you are performing compared to your competition and now we can obtain some of that 3rd party data in a very visible way. I listed competitive intelligence as one of the 10 things you should be doing as a part of your social media marketing plan.
Exceptions?
Not every tweet will have a visible view count. Community tweets, Twitter Circle tweets, and “older” tweets won’t have the data available. Please note that if the person who wrote the tweet is looking at their own Tweet it actually counts as another view.
